Basically, I hate it.But as for details... It's chalky, chunky, smells weird, and feels gross when you put it on. It didn't last through a sandwich, which clearly means it can't last 14 hours.I tried it in #012 Keep Me Coral. The color is pretty, but not interesting enough to make me want to wear it very often, if ever (which is why I don't have a photo of me wearing it, I don't want to put it on again!).
I wouldn't recommend this one, but if you've tried it and had a different experience, leave a comment and let us know!
I used to hate wearing lipstick. I didn't look like myself when I wore it. I looked older, and weird. I only wanted to wear clear gloss for several years. Gradually over the years I started wearing colored glosses, eventually deciding that I actually looked weird with no lip color. Maybe my lips got increasingly pale over time? I'm not sure.
About a year and a half ago I decided that it was time to find the mythical "perfect red lipstick." This led to a lot of terrible lipstick purchases, since I was only buying drugstore brands at the time and couldn't test them out. I eventually found my "perfect red" -- L'Oreal Paris Colour Riche Star Secrets in Evangeline's Red. It was amazing.
After I found the perfect red, I became obsessed with finding the perfect red/orange/coral color. I found a million of them! I can't wait until summer to wear a different one everyday.
The lipsticks above are just part of my current stash. These were all purchased within the past week or so. That's not really normal for me, though I do love to pop into Walgreen's and test out new makeup quite often. In the past week there were a lot of new recommendations online and lots of new Spring 2012 products coming out (and I didn't want to miss out!) so I just started grabbing whatever colors I could find at my local drugstores.
The main culprits have been Poppy King by Boots No. 7, Kate Moss for Rimmel, and Revlon Colorburst Lip Butters. Oh, how I love them! All of them (truly)! I love them so much in fact, that I want to write about them here.
Stay tuned!
